Claude Code adds mods for custom model behavior and UI

Claude Code has added mods, which let you change model behavior, customize the UI and replace built-in features. A mod can be written in a few lines of TypeScript, or Claude can build it for you. Mods ship as plugins and install through /plugin in the CLI or the desktop app.
