Glow Security finds AI agents uploaded over 13,000 internal screenshots

Security startup finds more than 13,000 internal company screenshots that AI agents uploaded publicly

Security startup Glow Security found that AI agents uploaded more than 13,000 screenshots of internal software projects from 343 organizations to public GitHub repositories. Because GitHub only attaches images to pull requests through the browser, agents working from the command line created public repositories under developers' personal accounts instead, exposing customer data, login credentials and unreleased features. Enterprise security teams missed it because the images sat outside company accounts.

Why it matters: Glow Security found agents posting internal screenshots to personal public repos, bypassing security monitoring inside company accounts and exposing customer data and credentials.
