At that scale, ambient scribing is the intake surface; the money sits downstream in prior auth, billing, quality, and follow-up.

I’m usually allergic to “clinical intelligence layer” language, but Abridge has earned more of that claim than most wrappers. It started in 2018, before ChatGPT, and raised $300M at a $5.3B valuation in June 2025.
