Meta adds Spaces to its Muse AI assistant for custom, interactive project experiences
What happened
The Verge reported on November 7, 2026 that Meta added Spaces to its Muse AI assistant. Users describe a custom app-like experience, such as a mall, a school dashboard, a music tracker or a quiz game, and adjust it through conversation. Spaces is rolling out to all Muse users alongside a dedicated version of the Muse Wonder AI model. Meta is also exploring how Spaces can be shared and used collaboratively. TechCrunch reported later the same day that Spaces sits in a sidebar of the interface and supports chatting with the Muse agent around a project to build trackers, planners or project boards for trip planning, recipe collection and gift tracking. Both reports say Spaces can update prices and dates in the background once connected apps are linked.
