On October 22, 2026, Hacker News reported that Daniel Murrell launched OnKey, a free open-source singing practice tool for Mac. The app learns a song's melody, shows pitch in real time while the user sings, marks off-key spots and scores each line. After playback ends, OnKey separates the lead vocal locally, tracks pitch with CREPE and models notes with GAME. It requires Apple Silicon (M1 or newer) and macOS 14.2 or later.
