The Verge reported on October 23 that Discord's latest update improves Markdown file previews: uploaded .md files now render tables and formatting correctly instead of showing a wall of symbols, which makes it easier to share READMEs and docs for AI projects. The same update adds sidebar organization, letting users right-click a sidebar icon and use "Move to…" to sort servers and channels. Nitro members also get a higher file upload limit of 1GB.
