On October 9, Hacker News featured Rembrandt, a free open-source photo editor positioned as an Adobe Lightroom alternative for macOS, Windows and Linux. It runs local AI features with no account or subscription: GPU denoise, 2x and 4x super-resolution, and AI masking. It can also migrate a Lightroom library. Its text editing commands run through a local vocabulary system rather than a language model.
