Hair transplant photos of Bezos and Statham confirmed fake
What happened
Photos circulating on X, Threads and Bluesky showing Jeff Bezos and Jason Statham with hair transplants are fake, The Verge reported on Nov 4. A Google reverse image search traced the originals to 2023 and 2011 respectively. None of the tested images carried Content Credentials or SynthID marks. The photos are confirmed fake, but whether AI tools made them is not established; the absence of markers does not settle how they were produced.
