Anthropic files for IPO, disclosing revenue surge and huge compute commitments
Anthropic opens its books for Wall Street, showing record revenue and mounting obligations
Anthropic filed an IPO prospectus with the SEC to list on Nasdaq under the ticker ANT, led by Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. Revenue hit $16.3 billion in the first half of 2026, more than triple the $4.6 billion for all of 2025, and Q2 brought its first GAAP operating profit of $974 million.
Why it matters: The filing sets fast revenue growth against long-term compute commitments, so usage-linked income has to keep covering near-fixed long-term spending.
