Microsoft Execution Containers 1.0.0 ships policy-driven isolation for AI agents

Mxc: Microsoft Execution Containers version 1.0.0

Microsoft Execution Containers (MXC) is now generally available. It enforces file, network and UI access policies through containers to limit what AI agent workloads can do. Developers configure it with a unified JSON setup and multi-language SDKs across Windows, macOS and Linux isolation backends, and the Windows process container can log resource access to help tune policies.

Why it matters: MXC moves agent permissions into the runtime itself, and its learning and permissive modes record resource access so teams can tighten least-privilege policies with real data.
