Google DeepMind released Gemini 4 Carbon two weeks after Argon. Carbon scored 59 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index v5.0, against 50 for Argon.

Why it matters: Carbon's answer accuracy rose from 48% to 58%, but its hallucination rate also climbed from 4% to 11%.
