Microsoft has opened the Copilot harness through Microsoft Foundry, giving developers and enterprises a fully managed way to build multi-model agents. The runtime orchestration layer, built by GitHub's engineering team, supports 20+ frontier models, bring-your-own-key, MCP, agent skills and plugins, and routes each task to a suitable model.
