Google publicly released Deep Review, an agent-based review system that extends academic paper review to design docs, slide decks, and legal and financial documents. It runs four stages: segmentation, dynamic budget allocation, parallel verification and global synthesis. It checks logical consistency, mathematical statements and factual grounding, leaving high-level judgment to humans.

Why it matters: Deep Review splits documents, allocates compute budgets across parallel checks, then verifies cross-section consistency, a multi-agent flow other document review work can reuse.
