Bloomberg reports DeepSeek's new round is close to being finalized at no less than RMB 80 billion, with Tencent and CATL among the largest investors. People familiar said the original target was about RMB 50 billion, and signed term sheets point to a final figure near RMB 100 billion, though terms could still change in last talks. After the round closes, the company will restructure its business ahead of an IPO planned for early 2027.
