Anthropic has opened a research preview of Claude Duet, an app built on Claude Opus 5.5 that can send proactive reminders, carry out tasks and keep working after the user steps away. It draws on the memory, skills and connected apps of the user's Claude account, and needs approval before sending messages, making payments, signing documents or deleting content.
