Oracle files $20B stock and bond plan to fund AI infrastructure buildout
Oracle files to sell $20B in new stock, bonds to finance AI buildout
Oracle filed a financing plan on Monday to issue $10 billion in common stock and $10 billion in senior notes, raising money for AI infrastructure expansion. The plan was disclosed at last week's investor day, capping additional capital-markets funding for the fiscal 2027–2030 investment cycle at $20 billion. Oracle shares still fell more than 6% on Monday.
Why it matters: Oracle is already carrying heavy debt as it files this stock and bond plan, and investor worry about AI infrastructure spending has spread to share prices and credit risk pricing.
