Meta plans up to $95 billion in stock sales to fund its AI buildout

Meta plans to sell up to $95 billion in new shares to fund AI infrastructure. The plan includes $22.5 billion of Class A common stock, $12.5 billion of depositary shares, and $60 billion sold in the open market once Class C shares begin trading, possibly no earlier than Q1 2027.

Why it matters: Meta is funding AI infrastructure through several share classes, and the non-voting Class C shares let it raise money without diluting Zuckerberg's control.
