Anthropic files for Nasdaq listing under ANT, laying out plan to apply AI across fields

Anthropic’s IPO filing lays out a plan to ‘revolutionize every area of human endeavor’ with AI

Anthropic has filed a public S-1 with the SEC to list on Nasdaq under the ticker ANT, setting out its vision for AI development and its investment risks. Revenue for the first half of this year was $16.3 billion against a net loss of $80.7 billion, mostly accounting charges tied to financing instruments. The filing also discloses long-term compute purchase commitments with SpaceX, Microsoft, Google and Amazon.

Why it matters: The filing puts Anthropic's long-term compute commitments and catastrophic-incident insurance risk into the investment case, showing the funding burden behind its expansion.
