Anthropic files for IPO under ticker ANT
Anthropic officially files for its public debut
Anthropic filed for an IPO on Monday and plans to list under the ticker ANT. The filing does not disclose how much it aims to raise or a share price. Revenue for the first half of 2026 was $16.3 billion, up from $1.2 billion a year earlier. Operating loss narrowed to $693 million, while net loss reached $80.7 billion, mostly from non-cash accounting adjustments tied to convertible debt.
Why it matters: The filing shows founders keeping majority voting control, which limits what public shareholders can actually influence.
