DeepSeek Harness opens public preview for macOS and Windows desktop

DeepSeek Harness Desktop for macOS and Windows

DeepSeek Harness is now in public preview worldwide and open source, with desktop apps for macOS and Windows and a Web UI that can be launched from code. Built on Cordis's plugin architecture, it handles documents, data, coding and research tasks, lets users create plugins through chat in Creator mode, and runs scheduled jobs with the Scheduled tasks plugin.

Why it matters: DeepSeek Harness uses a composable plugin architecture and lets users build plugins by chatting, so tools, skills and interface extend along a workflow.
