This one's worth a click because it fixes a real friction point: every time you use Claude, you have to decide "chat or Cowork?" before you even start. Now Anthropic merged all three entry points — chat, Cowork, Artifacts — into one window, and the model auto-routes your request. They also added dedicated presentation and document features with PDF or PowerPoint export. Rolling out to Pro and Max subscribers first.

I'd discount the hype a bit. Auto-routing sounds clean, but what happens when the model guesses wrong? The post doesn't say whether you can manually override the routing. Also, this is a product-level merge, not a model capability jump. If you already use Claude for docs and decks, skipping the tab switch is genuinely handy. If you're mostly on the API or other tools, this won't change much for you.
