I'd discount this a bit though. The post doesn't share the prompts, grading criteria, or which schools the students came from. StudyArena runs its own AI learning platform and this test happened on their own turf. The more honest read: within a specific writing task and student demographic, Gemini's output style was more appealing. That's a preference signal, not a capability ranking. Treat it as a student taste survey, not a model benchmark.
