The useful bit here is that Telegram killed the most annoying part of bot development—renting a VPS, configuring environments, keeping something alive 24/7. You write JS modules, run `npx tgcloud push`, and your code executes in isolated V8 sandboxes right next to the Bot API, with a built-in SQLite database. Project structure is just handlers/, lib/, and schema.js; incoming updates auto-route to the matching handler, unmatched ones get ignored.

I'd hold off on full enthusiasm until pricing and free tier details surface—the post doesn't disclose either. Also missing: cold-start latency, execution time limits, and outbound HTTP restrictions. If those are tight, this is best for lightweight conversational bots and simple Mini App backends; complex workflows still need your own infra.

But the direction is right: compress deployment to one command so devs only think about logic. It's the Cloudflare Workers / Vercel Functions model, just embedded inside Telegram's messaging ecosystem. For solo devs and rapid prototypes, that's genuinely useful.
