Claude Code earns enterprise-workflow credit here, not coding-demo credit. Anthropic says its team built a CLUE proof of concept in one day, shipped in one week, and cut log investigations from hours to minutes. That is a hard use case because security work breaks on query stitching, context retention, alert explanation, and handoff quality, not on one clean model answer.

I don’t buy the universal lesson yet. This was Anthropic’s own detection platform team, inside Anthropic’s own permissions, log schemas, review loops, and deployment path. That removes a lot of the pain customers actually pay vendors to absorb. Compared with Cursor or Devin working against messy external repos, CLUE smells more like “Claude Code plus insider system access.” Outside replication depends on SIEM integration, audit controls, and who owns false positives; the article gives no numbers for those.
