OpenAI in talks to raise about $30B at a valuation above $1.4 trillion

OpenAI is negotiating a funding round of roughly $30 billion at a proposed valuation above $1.4 trillion, ahead of Anthropic's listing. That is at least 64% higher than the $852 billion valuation in March. On the same day, Meta's open-weight model Muse Spark Open launched on Fireworks the day it was released, aimed at long-context coding and agent tasks.
